Up your cocktail game with smoked garnishes wether elevating a classic cocktail or create something completely new.

Creating smoked garnishes on a Traeger grill is a great way to add a unique and flavorful touch to your dishes. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to smoke garnishes on your Traeger, along with a few recipes to get you started:

  1. Prepare your Traeger grill: Preheat your Traeger grill to 180-200°F.
  2. Choose your garnish: Some great garnish options for smoking include citrus fruits, herbs, and vegetables.
  3. Prep your garnish: Rinse your garnish under cold water and pat it dry. For citrus fruits, slice them into rounds or wedges. For herbs, leave them on the stem. For vegetables, cut them into thin slices or small pieces.
  4. Season your garnish: Depending on the garnish you've chosen, you can add some seasoning to enhance the flavor. For example, sprinkle some salt and pepper on your vegetable slices, or sprinkle some sugar on your citrus rounds.
  5. Smoke your garnish: Place your garnish on the grill grates, and close the lid. Smoke your garnish for 30 minutes to 2 hours, or until it reaches your desired level of smokiness.

Smoked Lemon Wedges:

  • 4 Lemons, sliced into wedges
  • 2 tsp sugar

Preheat your Traeger grill to 180°F. Rinse the orange slices under cold water and pat them dry. Season with sugar, then place them on the grill grates. Smoke the lemon wedges for 45 minutes, or until they are lightly browned and fragrant. Smoked Candy Bacon:

Using a pastry brush, brush each strip of bacon with liquid mixture, then generously season with the rub.Place the baking sheet on the grill grates.   • 2 tbsp Simple Syrup
  • 2 tsp sugar

Preheat your Traeger grill to 200°F. Rinse the orange slices under cold water and pat them dry. Toss them with simple syrup and sugar, then place them on the grill grates. Smoke the oranges slices 1 hour, or until they are slightly shriveled and have a smoky flavor. Serve the smoked orange slices as a garnish for a Maple Old Fashioned made with PiggyBack 100% Rye.

Smoked Rosemary:

  • 1 bunch fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Preheat your Traeger grill to 180°F. Rinse the rosemary under cold water and pat it dry. Season it with salt and garlic powder, then place it on the grill grates. Smoke the rosemary for 1 hour, or until it is crispy and fragrant. Use the smoked rosemary as a garnish for meat or cocktail.
